How to play

• Add everyone. Three players or more.
• Tick the packs you want to play with.
• Pass the phone round. Hold the screen to see your secret word.
• One of you is the imposter. They get a clue, not the word.
• Take turns saying one thing about it. Never the word itself.
• Talk it over, then tap who you think it is.

Common questions

I paid but the packs are still locked

Open the shop and choose Restore purchases. The unlock is tied to your Apple ID, so it works on any device signed in to the same account. Restoring needs an internet connection; everything else in the game doesn’t.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. The whole game is on your device. The only thing that ever needs a connection is buying or restoring the unlock.

Is there a subscription?

No. Two packs are free forever. The other eighteen unlock with a single payment, once. There are no adverts and no in-game currency.

How many can play?

Three to twelve. Three is the minimum because with two players the imposter is whoever is not you.

Can young children play?

Yes. Every word comes with a picture, so a child who cannot read it can still recognise it, and names are optional. Everyone can just be Player 1, Player 2 and so on.

Can I turn the sound off?

Yes, with the speaker button on the home screen. It controls the music and the sound effects together.
